Privacy

Only what running the service requires:

• Your email address, so you can sign in and so we can reply to you
• Your password, stored only as an irreversible hash by our authentication provider. We never see it and cannot recover it
• A display name, if you choose to set one
• The prompts you write and the settings you choose for each video
• The videos generated for you, for seven days
• Your balance and its full history - every top-up, charge and refund
• Payment screenshots you upload when adding funds
• Messages you send us through the site
• Ordinary server records kept by our hosting and database providers, which include IP addresses and browser information

We do not ask for your real name, address, date of birth or any identity document, and we never handle card numbers.

We use a small number of companies to run the service:

• Our database and storage provider holds your account, balance, prompts and videos
• Our hosting provider serves the pages and keeps standard access logs
• A third-party AI video provider receives your prompt and the settings you chose, because that is what generates the video. They do not receive your email address, your name or anything about your account
• Google, but only if you accept advertising cookies when asked. In that case Google learns that a visit arrived from one of our adverts. It never receives your email address, your prompts, your videos or your balance - we could not send those even if we wanted to, because the advertising tag has no access to your account

That is the entire list. We do not sell your data, and we never share your prompts, your videos or your account details with anybody for advertising - the Google entry above is about which advert you clicked, and nothing else.

We will hand over information if a law or a valid legal order requires it, and we would tell you unless we were forbidden from doing so.

Every video belongs to the account that made it. This is enforced in the database itself, not merely hidden in the interface, and videos are served through links that expire rather than through public addresses.

Nobody else can see your videos or your prompts. Our own staff can reach them only when investigating a problem you have reported to us.

• Videos: seven days, then permanently deleted by an automatic job. Download anything you want to keep - your download is yours forever
• Prompts and the record of a generation: kept with your account, so your history and your balance make sense
• Balance history: kept as long as your account exists, because it is a financial record
• Support messages: kept so a later conversation has context
• Your account: until you ask us to delete it

One cookie is essential: the one that keeps you signed in. It is what tells the site your browser is you when you move between pages, and it cannot be turned off without breaking the ability to log in. It is not shared with anybody and it is not used to track you anywhere else.

Advertising cookies are optional and off by default. We may advertise this service through Google Ads. If we do, we would like to know which advert brought you here - that is the only thing those cookies are for.

They are never set unless you say yes. If advertising is running you will see a banner at the bottom of the page with two buttons, Decline and Accept, and until you choose one nothing is loaded at all - no Google script, no cookie, no request to Google. Declining is a complete refusal, not a reduced version, and the site behaves identically either way.

You can change your mind at any time. Once you have answered, a Cookie choices link appears in the footer of every page and asks you again. Your answer is kept in your own browser rather than on our servers, so clearing your browser data clears it too.

We use no analytics at all - no Google Analytics, no heatmaps, no session recording, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

Write to support@clipaxy.com from the address on your account and you can ask us to:

• Tell you everything we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your account and the personal data attached to it
• Send you a copy of your data

We will do it within 30 days. Deleting an account removes your personal details; we may keep anonymous financial records where the law requires us to.

This service is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly keep accounts for anyone younger, and will delete one if we discover it.

If we change how any of this works we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will tell account holders by email rather than expecting anybody to notice.
